When infected with shingles the urinary tract can sometimes be affected. It becomes overstimulated and there is a constant and urgent need to urinate. Sometimes there is also leakage associated with urgency all symptoms of a overactive bladder.

They're more side effects from the treatment. Your mouth will be dry, so you'll drink more liquid, so you'll have to go more often.

I have had shingles three times and never had a bladded problem. Although I do drink alot of water and maybe that why. I have had them near my eye and hairline, belly button and under my right breast.
