Most varieties of lettuce, peas and spinach can grow under these circmstances. You can add artificial light to increase the light by using an old fish tank light.

Leaf lettuces(Boston etc. ) are very easy to grow. Spinach and Kale work well also. veggies like tomatoes can be grown inside but need a good size pot and soil depth, and to be staked so they don't fall over. Use a good soil. Make sure the plants get 6-8 hours of light and do not dry out.
