Change the water, grow some plants you have to prune them regularly, you can use chemical absorbers but they are costly and messy. Nothing works as well as water changes

Some of the chemicals used for nitrate remover are such as Amquel+ or Prime, which is used everytime when water is changed. Changing water weekly helps to remove nitrates.
