I prefer Mizmo tubes and darter shrimp lures for fishing in brackish waters. The more colorful, the better. Use live shrimp and jigs if you're going after bass. Fish in these waters are going to be strong and fat. And remember, bitin's best when tide's a-changin'.

In a brackish water you want to try and use a darker lure. The important thing to remember about fishing is that you're trying to trick a fish into thinking this is something it's used to eating. In darker waters, prey is often darker colored.

Well for brackish water you typically want to have a brightly colored lure. That way it is visible to the fish.
