There is no "basic prescription. " There are lots of medications for both acne and a host of rashes. A dermatologist must review the symptoms and decide what would work best.

Which medication you are prescribed depends on the cause of the rash. Topical hydrocortisone is a typical medication for rashes, and topical or oral antibiotics are typical for acne.

Satlyic acid, not sure on the spellingn of the kind of acid but thats a basic prescription for acne, rashes are different. usually its a type of hydrocortizone cream, but it depends on the rash. if hts exzema they may prescribe a hydrating cream, something similar to eucerine cream you canget at the grocery store

The most common one is Benzoyl Peroxide, others your doctor may prescribe are Clindamycin or Azelaic Acid depending on the condition to be treated.
