Euthanasia should only be considered if the quality of life is no longer attainable. I mean that if all other alternatives have been exhausted then this is an option.

Proponents of euthanasia beleive that it eliminates the suffering of the supposedly terminally ill and hopeless, while thereby freeing up valuable resources to others with better chances of recovery.

The argument is related to quality of life. Individuals who choose euthanasia often feel maintaining life is not worth the cost. If you are completely disabled, unable to care for yourself, unable to enjoy things you might have previously, you may feel that life no longer has sufficient value and that you are placing an undue burden on your family.
