The Branches of geology are Physical geology and Historical geology. Physical geology deals with mineral composition, rock types, etc. Historical deals in the way the Earth developed throughout history by studying rocks. The systems are Isolated, Open, and closed. It is important to note that depending on who you ask, there could be many ways to delineate geology branches.
