Saudi Arabian culture is very much based on Islam. Since both holy cities Mecca and Medina are in Saudi. Saudi Arabia is a Kingdom, the King is the highest authority. There are strict rules and violations lead to severe punishments. The culture is still heavily influenced by Bedouin (Nomadic) elements.

It would not be fair to say they are corrupt, more than any culture. Saudi society is underpinned by Islam, and they infuse the precepts of Islam into their daily lives. Men are dominant in terms of jobs and power; women wear veils in public and cannot drive cars.
