What are some tips for grilling meats?

When grilling meats it's important to have a 'HOT' clean grill, lightly brush the desired meat with oil and season well. Cook quickly on both sides.

A new griller has to remember that each meat is different. This means you cannot cook fish the same as chicken, steak, pork, or bison. Each piece of meet takes longer. Generally the more thickness and density to the meat the longer it will take to cook. This is why a piece of tilapia can cook quickly.
