What are some suggestions for setting up a relaxation room?

I would start with a very light color, maybe something blue. I would have soft lighting and maybe soft sheer curtains. A fish tank always makes a room very relaxing, and maybe a water fountain. Something real soft to sit on, that is big enough to stretch out on.

You should figure out your budget as well as what relaxes you. But you can try having the room filled with comfortable pillows and cushions on the floor, some incense or scented candles are also nice, but make sure that they are not lit when you leave the room or too close to the pillows. Calming colored walls.

You'll want to be able to shut yourself in from the outside world so make sure you have a door on it as well as good curtains to block out light. Candles are nice too.

Pick some paint colors for the walls that are relaxing, like blue or blue green. Also, stock the room with a big comfy chair.
