A gravid Yorkie is hard to identify especially in the early stages. You really would not be able to tell until fairly far along in the pregnancy from sight/palpations alone. Take her to a vet, he can check for chorionic gondadotrophin (the pregnancy test hormone). A human pregnancy test won't be sensitve enough.

Her nipples grows and she tends to be calmer and to sleep more than usual. During the second week her belly grows a little bit. She may vomit on the third week. From the forth week on she gains weight and the belly grows even more. She has an increase in appetite so give her some more good dog food.

Your Yorkie is very likely to begin to nest. Her nipples will show quickly. Her stomach will expand and become hard. She will be tired, and less active.

In the early stages its difficult to determine. You may notice a thickening and the start of weight gain as well as some swelling of the breasts. Your vet may be able to determine whether or not the dog is pregnant by running a blood test.
