Look for art schools that have strong architecture programs, i assume that you want to go to grad school if this is the line of work that you are wanting to pursue, think about doing engineering as well.

There are various architecture and related programs you can enter, depending on what you want to work on. Possible degrees you can look for include architecture, interior design, civil engineering, and building construction. Lots of colleges and universities include these programs, either as a 5-year program or 2 to 3 years of grad school. Check the NAAB for accredited programs.

There are several architecture schools. But, if you want to make a career of it, You're better off going to a school with a strong engineering program and preferably also offers a degree program for architects. Georgia Tech is a good example of such a school, or the University of Maine at Orono.

Professional building designers are known as architects. Many schools offer architecture degrees. You can do research and determine which school is best for your own qualifications.

Good professional building designer schools can be found throughout the United States. The Architectural College of Chicago is an excellent one, as is Washington University School of Design. Of course, nothing beats Harvard.
