People withdrawing can have fits. They can become anxious or nervous and their bodies can feel very weak. Also a person can have sweats. This is the drug getting working its way out of their system. The person withdrawing should not have caffeine and should be in bed for a least four days after taking their last benzo.

The biggest signs of withdrawal are blackness under the eyes, a serious rash or itching. Often times when people are withdrawing from this they may see things that aren't there, have difficulty with sleeping and falling asleep. Often you will see severe moodswings and irritability from people as well with this.

I took 2-4mg xanax a day for two years and quit cold-turkey. During the first week, I was irritable, shakey, and very anxious. I kept curling my feet, I hear its normal. Sometimes I felt a sensation like a small meteor just impacted my face and jerked my head back.
