Without a doubt, Boston, Massachusetts and Portland, Maine are two of the most interesting cities that are located within New England.

I'd recommend the Tolland Inn in Tolland, CT and the Ipswich Inn in Ipswich, Massachusetts. Tolland is quiet and romantic, and Ipswich is full of historical charm.
