What are some of the more famous landmarks in Europe?

Buckinham Palace is a large tourist attraction and one of the most famous landmarks in London. Big Ben is also a London landmark. The Leaning Tower of Pisa is located in Italy. The Cologne Cathedral and Brandenburg Gate are both located in Germany. Notre Dame is a famous cathedral in Paris.

The Coliseum, Forum, Pantheon, and Vatican City. Pompeii. The Tower of London and Buckingham Palace. Windsor Castle. The Louvre, the Champs Elysee, and Versailles. The Rock of Gibraltar. Edinburgh Castle.

In Britain: Big Ben, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace. In France: Notre Dame Cathedral. In Spain: The Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Familia. In Italy: The Leaning Tower of Pisa, Roman Coliseum, Pantheon. In Greece: Acropolis.

Europe has so many wonderful landmarks - each country offers up choices that are hard to resist. Paris and the Eiffel Tower, Venice and the canals, London and Tower Bridge. Too many to list here, so check your travel guide books and see what interests you. If you love architecture focus on that or bridges, castles, cathedrals. Lots of choices.

There are so many landmarks in Europe. Each country offers a unique landmark of its own. But the best according to me is Edinburgh Castle in Edinburgh Scotland. Eiffel tower in Paris is also in the top list.
