Some of the highest paying careers are in medicine. This includes physician, surgeon, and high demand medical areas such as anesthesiologist. Sales of products and businesses can also pay well, if you take a 5-10% commission on millions of dollars on sales. Real estate agents who sell a high volume can also make 3% on millions of annual sales.

Some of the highest paying careers are in acting, being a rockstar and professional baseball. Other high paying careers include being a doctor, accountant, lawyer or engineer. For the latter careers, higher salary usually usually comes at a price of more schooling. For all of these careers, there is a bare minimum of four years of college.
