Just about any job can be done without working for the military. If you're working in the private sector, then you're likely not working for the military.

Some entry level positions include food service at restaurants, janitorial jobs at office buildings or schools, direct care of individuals - whether children or adults who are infirm or have disabilities, or trucking jobs with proper training and certifications.

There are lots of jobs out there for people that are not in the military. You can work as a police officer, at a supermarket, there are tons of options. It depends on what you are interested in and your education.

You can try seeing if there is a CDR near you. They make fiberglass utility boxes. You can also try calls centers, such as PRC, Sykes, and even directly for places like ADT and AT&T. Other things, fast food, but you ill not get paid much. Department stores, security officers, or you can go into the software industry.

Some non-military jobs are Nurse, Engineer, Attorney, Counselor, Dentist, Teacher and Accountant. These are civilian jobs that pay reasonably well.
