What are some ideas to get funding for my MBA?

I don't have a big savings account, so what are other options for paying for a MBA?

Lots of people work after they earn their undergrad degree. There are a number of MBA programs that are accelerated and meet on weekends, etc. FAFSA only determines eligibility for financial aid; it is not a funding source. Speak to the SFA rep at your school.

Apply for a graduate assistantship/fellowship--most of these programs pay your tuition towards your Master's and sometimes provide a room/board stipend. Otherwise, try the FAFSA for additional loans.

1. Use your employer's educational assistance program, or go to work for a company that has that. 2. Look for scholarships or essay contests.

Student loans are readily available and could help fund an MBA. If you don't want to repay the costs, however, another possibility is to ask your employer to help pay for it on the theory that the training will make you a more valuable worker.
