What are some ideas for children to make their own mothers day cards?

I would like my preschool class to make mothers day cards for their moms this year but need some help.

Cut out hearts from construction paper and decorate them to make them look like conversation hearts. Have the candy on hand for inspiration!

Get some crayons and construction paper. Have them draw a picture of their mother and themselves. Let them copy the lettering to the card. Get some plain fabric and a dowel. Let them paint whatever they want for mom. Get postcards, stickers, and crayons and let them decorate the card for mother.

Fold a piece of paper in half. Trace the kids hand in the middle of the first page and have them color it. Put "Happy Mother's Day on the front with the hand. Open the card and glue a printed copy of a nice saying and they sign their name.

Have each child dictate a sentence about their moms and put these on the inside of card stock folded in half. Then have the children decorate the fronts.
