try some Hollywood red carpet style theme party. or to the most classic masquerade ball or phantom of the opera. maybe a secret agent would be good.your entrance would be like some action scene.and your invitation is like a top secret in it.

try something non traditional like leaving her clues at a starting point and then having to make 16 stops. Have a new clue at each stop, and at number 16 have her final 'big' gift or even a surprise party waiting. Look for a cake with fondant frosting, they are really beautiful and unique.
