Mobic is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) medication that has proven most effective in relieving the symptoms of arthritis. Homeopathic remedies would vary, depending on why mobic is prescribed for you. Check out Hanna Kroeger's work in homeopathic medicine for alternatives, depending on your condition.

There are many different types of substitutes that could help. First and foremost I'd recommend a form of Asprin: Bayer, Ecotrin, and Anacin are highly regarded. Advil, Tylenol, and Motrin have been known to help too. Remember to check the correct amount of dosage before beginning any regimen.

Stinging Nettle is very effect substitute for Mobic. The only appreciable side effects are its diuretic properties. Stinging Nettle works best in the capsule form.

To get a remedy that suits your particular pain, consultation with a homeopathic practitioner is needed. Homeopathic remedies have few side effects, but are usually less powerful at relieving pain.

Here are a few in ABC order. Arnica, Aurum metallicum, Bryonia, Calcarea carbonica and florica, Causticum, Dulcamara, Kali bichromicum and carbonicum, Kalmia latiflor, Ledum palustre, Pulsatilla, Rhododendron, Rhus toxicodendron, Ruta graveolens. All of these (not all at once, of course!) will help with arthritis pains.
