One very popular method for getting rid of acne is covering them with toothpaste before you sleep at night. It is said that the toothpaste dries them out.

Apply lemon juice several times a day. Make a paste of baking soda & water in your hand and apply and leave on overnight. You can also apply a dab of toothpaste on it and leave it on overnight and wash it off in the morning. Use alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, or apple cider vinegar on a cotton ball.

A highly used home remedy is toothpaste. Place it on the pimple and let it sit overnight. It will dry up the pimple.

Putting toothpaste on a spot overnight is said to help with drying it up. It is important to use ordinary tooth paste, not the newer varieties with gel components or whitening agents. A paste made of baking soda and water is sometimes said to have a similar effect when applied to a spot.

Regular toothpaste can help dry out a pimple. Simply dab a little on before you go to sleep. You can also try Visine eye drops on red spots.

Tea Tree oil and lavender oil are both healing disinfectants - use a cotton bud to apply to pimples. Also change your pillowcase at least weekly.

Using witch hazel has given me success. Also try toothpaste on acne, but be careful to only use white colored toothpaste and only leave it on a few minutes.
