I would suggest paying a visit to historic Mission San Luis Rey, going for a swim at Breakwater Way, checking out the paintings at the Oceanside Museum of Art, and enjoying the serenity at Guajome Regional Park. Top your visit off with a meal at Anita's Restaurant, and try the Carne Asada Burrito!

Take a walk on the Oceanside Pier, once you reach the end enjoy dining at Rubys Diner. Visit the harbor and Village, featuring many shops, restaurants and boating activities.

Oceanside is a great little city right on the beach off the 5 interstate north of San Diego. There are over three miles of beaches to enjoy. If you like Art dont miss the Oceanside museum of art in downtown at Pier View and Ditmar. Also if you just head right down Pier View you will be at the pier.

The Mission San Luis Rey de Francia with its Sacred Garden is a beautiful site. The Harbor Lighthouse, though not in operation, is a popular locale. The Oceanside Marina is perfect for recreation lovers. Sport fishing and whale watching tours, jet ski rentals, surfing, or kayak rentals are all possibilities here.
