you could write it up more like a total celebration. You are invited to the beginning of a new journey for our dear friend, insert name. Festivities will take place on date and time. Or be funny, we here by deport insert name from our offices in order for them to move on and get a life. Wish we could.

Use luggage tags as invitations and write the date and place on the tag. Make some mock plane tickets and write the date and time and print them off the computer. Make postcards with the date and time.

Some good ideas for "bon voyage" invitations are pictures of a ship departing from port. Invitations could include farewell messages, words of encouragement, and listings of various memories you have with the coworker. "Bon voyage" invitations should also include contact information of employees/staff so that they can stay in touch with the departing employee.

If the person is leaving, but coming back, you might make invitations that look like a boomerang. If it is a true farewell, invitations in a bottle are good.

maybe with a shape of a map then you would add some picture of a airplane, car or a train. then you would also include the picture of your co-worker with some animated body i it. also the map would look like a treasure map that look so old and an 'x' mark for the tresure
