When determining which colors to use on a graph, select colors that will stand apart from each other. And don't pick colors that will highlight or draw attention to parts of the graph or dull colors that will take away attention from part of the graph.

You might want to avoid red and green since people who are color blind see reds and greens as grays. Otherwise, pick vivid colors that make sense for the topic of the graph and contrast well with one another. It is really annoying when the colors are too similar to one another!

Avoid the use of bright and conflicting colors. Red always means "bad", black is usually "good: while blue, green or yellow might be "neutral".

It depends on the color of the grap sheet.Anyway red,black,brown,green and purple may look clear on any color of the sheet you are using.
