Foods rich in calcium and protein help heal broken bones. You should have lots of green leafy vegetables, milk, curd or butter-milk, an egg every day. Cooked fish too is very good.

The most important mineral in callus formation is calcium. Hence foods that are rich in calcium and vitamin D are very effective in fracture healing. Healing also requires good blood flow , and to achieve this adequate amounts of water and iron rich foods are needed.
