Chimps have a life span of about 50 years. An adult can weigh between 55 and 110 pounds. If you are considering a chimpanzee for a pet then you should be warned that they can become very very dangerous once they meet sexual maturity. A male chimpanzee is roughly 5 times stronger then the average man. They are wild animals.

Although chimpanzees can be very cute and cuddly as a baby they are very strong and very dangerous. Male chimpanzees grow to approx 5.6 ft tall and weigh approx 150lbs give or take and the female is slightly smaller. Adults can be aggressive and territorial, they have been know to kill other chimps.

Wwll..there is so much animals that can be pet(cat,dog,rabbit,turtle,fish,etc..),maybe you should think about one of them instead of the chimpanzee. The chimpanzee are from Africa and lives in trees,in groups of 5 to captivity then can live to 50 years, and in adult age can weight 154lbs

Chimpanzees are wild animals that are extremely dangerous and that have actually been known to kill people who attempt to keep them as pets. They are apes, and are one of the humans' closest evolutionary family members.
