Meats, such as chicken, hot dogs, hamburger, etc are good. Also any sort of dehydrated food that you just add water to can be taken along and cooked while camping. Hope that helps.
When I go camping, I make a macaroni spaghetti sauce casserole or sloppy joes. We take hot dogs, steaks, hamburgs and all the fixings. Pasta salads keep well.
The following should be cooked over a campfire for the yummy outdoor taste. For breakfast make pancakes, french toast or eggs. Hot dogs are always popular as are hamburgers. You can fix anything you would cook on a grill at home. Oh yes, don't forget the s'mores!
Instant noodles takes less than 4 minuts to cook, it is filling too. Porridges made or rice and lentils are easy to cook. Banana splits, omlettes, sandwiches, grilled vegetables and meat are also easy to cook items while you camp. Rice and vegetable or meat stew are easy to make food.
Some of the best things are made on a skillet. You can bring pancake mix that mixes in the bottle, sausages, bacon, hash browns, and other meats. If you go hunting while camping, then that would also suffice.
