You could make cup cakes, cake, or muffins. If you would like to stick to your book topic, you could have green icing and draw out green tomatoes. If you can't draw, or aren't confident drawing with icing, you could check local stores for small plastic tomatoes.

There are a number of simple desserts to make. Supermarkets sell no-bake choices for cakes and brownies, but fresh fruit salad or a sundae bar are very easy to prepare.

You could try mini sweet potato pies. Basically cut out regular pie dough to fit into muffin tins to make the base. Then make the filling for any sweet potato pie recipe and fill the tins then bake at suggested temperature but for ten to fifteen minutes less than recommended for a full pie. Hope that helps.

Eton Mess is a delicious easy dessert. Buy ready made meringues, either fresh or unsweetened frozen strawberries and whipped cream. Break meringue into pieces, add strawberries and whipped cream. Use amounts of ingredients to your taste. Place in the fridge for a couple of hours and serve. Yummy!
