How about some of the traditional treats that are wrapped in pastel colors? Most of the chocolate companies produce their candies with special wraps for Easter. Jelly beans are always a good choice. Don't want candy? A CD or DVD is always appreciated.

Chocolate or Reeses eggs (and bunnies) are always good for someone of any age. Peeps are also a popular Easter treat, as well as jelly beans. Another good homemade thing would be rice rcispie treats, maybe even decorated with frosting. If they are girls, maybe put a necklace in their Easter basket as well.

Pre-teens still love candy, right? They've likely developed tastes beyond your average chocolate kiss, though, so include some fancier or more unique candies or cookies. Small gifts in plastic eggs make adorable additions, too! Maybe some cheap earrings or gift cards to a favorite store.

They could get a dish that's looks like a bunny, chicken, or egg that has candy in it. Also you could fix them a basket with goodies that they like.
