What are some cute themes for a new nursery?

It depends on whether you are having a girl or a boy. A lot of people now days are going with color themes rather than character themes. You can choose two colors which go well together and base your nursery decor off of that. I like turquoise and brown or pink and brown.

If you're having a boy, you can go with a Noah's Arc theme. For a girl, a Disney Princess theme. If you're looking for neutral ideas, you can go with an animal - like a monkey or giraffe. You could also use colour themes, like black and white.

There are some great themes out there that are appropriate for a boy or a girl, some ideas are woodland animals, circus, jungle animals, dots, stripes, and so on.

I am a huge fan of Ni-Hao Kai-Lan. It is a Chinese/English cartoon. Also the classic Pooh makes a great theme.

Nursery rhymes are beautiful themes for a nursery, also if it's a girl's room pretty pastels with flowers or pastels dots. Also animals are cute for a boy. Nursery rhymes could be used for either one.

I like the idea of doing something gender neutral, so you can use it for multiple children. I like the idea of a jungle, forest, or circus. They are all a lot of fun.

This would depend on the gender of your baby. For a little boy, a safari themed nursery would be cool while a princess theme for a girl would be best.

Rainbows are colorful, bright and cheery, and are good for either sex. Also animals, forest themes, clouds, things from nature.
