What are some common circulation problems that would cause you to have extremely cold fingers and toes?

I am worried that my always cold hands and feet are a sign of circulation problems.

This something that you should definitely talk to your doctor about. He can run tests to see if you circulation problems. As you get older your hands and feet get colder, and it doesn't always mean that you have circulation problems.

There is a condition called Raynauds Phenomena in which the body decreases the blood flow to the hands and feet. Talk to a doctor.

As you get older this is a problem among many people. Most of these people have had heart problems, cholestrol problems. They are on medication, but they still have cold hands and feet. The best advice is to keep your feet warm with socks. Wear heavy gloves in the winter and keep moving so the blood will circulate. Excerise.

Raynauds syndrome is often present in people with auto immune disorders. This can be an irritation or a life threatening condition. The nervous system doesn't regulate it's activity and misfires.

Of course there might be the possibility of frostbite. Along with this, if you are using or working with vibrating equipment this may happen. It could also be a side-effect of taking certain medication
