What are remedies for dry patches on your skin, the patches have a whitish tint to them?

I have noticed several small dry patches on my arms and legs and would like to treat them.

The patches on the skin are caused by lack of moisture in the area. In order to refrain from any more irritation, it is a good idea to use a fragrance free lotion on these areas right after cleansing. Applying a deep, moisturizing lotion on a daily basis is the best solution.

First you should go see the doctor to rule out anything serious. Then use sun protection and exfoliation to treat them.

If simple extra strength lotion is not working, you may want to try something like "bag balm", which was used (and still is) to moisturize cow udders. Today, you can find it in most pharmacy stores. Or, you may want to see a dermatologist to rule out eczema.

This is a very common problem throughout the states. All you need to do is rub lotion around the patches every 3,4 times a day, for a week. They must be consistently covered in moisture for the white tint patches to go away, and they will once you start using lotion.

The best remedy is use a good lotion, constantly apply and if you can keep the area covered up at night to let the moisture soak in.
