Over-reliance on sat-nav systems is dangerous if suddenly your sat-nav run out of power of spoils, then you have no idea of how to get to where you want to go. It also sometimes leads people to the wrong place. People are also worried that it can be used to track their movements.

Well in dash navigation system can be dangerous. They require the driver to look down at their dash to read a small map. This means the driver is momentarily distracted.
