The normal blood pressue level or theh "text book level" is 120/80. This can vary with the person's age and their activity. A small thin person may have a normal blood pressure of 100/60 and be perfectly fine. The lower number is recommened to be befow 100 though.

There is no one set normal blood pressure level. There is however a range that normal, healthy blood pressure falls under. Such as 120 over 80 is the universal average blood pressure but since everyone is biologically different it can be with a degree of that range.

A normal blood pressure for an adult is below 120 systolic (top number) and 80 diastolic (bottom number). Numbers above these can mean you have hypertension, or high blood pressure.
