An ISO file is similar to a .ZIP Document. To be more specific it is an archive document. They usually come with file extensions. But to put it simply its just a disc image. There are pretty much 2 ways to deal with this. You can put it on a disk or make it look like you did.

An ISO file is an image file that is created by a cd burning tool. You are able to mount this image or send it to any other computer once you have made this an ISO. Often it is programs, games, and sometimes music cd's. ISO files can also be burned back onto a blank cd for reproduction.
