Question by  blink (23)

What are ideas for Halloween face and hair?

I want something that can be done at home and isn't too expensive.

You could do something cool with maybe a red/black wig. Tease the hair out and put some of those rubber spiders in it. Use some costume make up to paint a spider web on your face. You could accessorize with cool jewelry with this idea I think. Have fun!

You can just go to the halloween store and get a spray can of hair dye and a face paint pallet. They come in many shades and most of them have a design on the front you can copy the most common are zombies but i've seen fairies and clowns as well. It shouldn't even cost fifteen dollars.

I think a very pale white face and jet black hair would be good ideas. This would make someone look to be a vampire like Dracula.

Purchase cheap Halloween makeup in a tube - it works best and is easy to clean up. If you put gray all over your face it will work for a zombie, witch, etc. Put white and add some circles with different colors to be a clown. Avoid red- it doesn't wash easily. Use hairspray to make your hair messy.

Use face paint or make up to create a pale or bloody effect. Use hair spray and twigs to create a matted look.

A good idea is to be a witch, as you just have to paint your face green, put a big mole on the side of your face, and wear a black wig (and hat).

You can wear some funny glasses, make your hair really high and fluffy, a pointy hat and tie a carrot around your head to make it look like a nose.

An inexpensive costume for Halloween is to dress up as an old lady. Put your hair in curlers and white cold cream on your face with bright red lipstick.

Make a witch can with green face paint, imitation wart out of glue and hair dusted with talcum powder to make it gray. Cover whole face and hair with black material like a hood and fashion a sickle to make a figure of death.

You could do most of your face and hair makeup for Halloween without having to buy anything. Use your own gels and mousses to style your hair as crazy as you can. Use your own make-up and just go wild with it. Try maybe a Mardi Gras original theme.

I saw an idea in a magazine that had a Halloween face and hair article. Instead of having to use too much paint you could dust your hair and clothing with baby power and then do something dramatic with your makeup. You could be a bride of Dracula or something.

Well, I like to go out and buy fake tattoos of scars, cuts and stuff like that. They look real! You can buy them at Party City.

A really popular one has become the Joker from the Dark Knight. White, red, and black face paint is basically all you need and then just mess up your hair.
