They are not green ladybugs. You likely saw what are called cucumber beetles. They are lime green, or greenish-yellow, with black spots. They attack cucumbers, beans, and other plants. They are considered a pest.

Yes, they are normal. Ladybugs can come in a small of array of colors, from orange to yellow to blood red and, sometimes, green. As long as it is a normally shaped ladybug, its fine. If its body is more elongated, it might actually be a cucumber beetle, which are harmful to plants.

I think you're probably looking at a non-ladybug called a cucumber beetle, which come striped or spotted. They're very damaging to plants, unlike real ladybugs.

They could also be a cucumber beetle which are about the same size as ladybugs but green, slightly more elongated body with black spots. These eat the foliage of your plants and are garden pests you don't want.

Yes, green ladybugs are normal. Thay all are! Thay are not harmful to humans, they are a natural depredator in that they taste bad (that is a reason for the spots you see on alot of them, a warning signal to others), and they are one of God's creatures.

Green ladybugs are NOT normal. They are more than likely a cucumber beetle, which is VERY damaging to your crops and flowers. There is nothing that you can do once you have them. You can try pesticide that is safe for food, but it may not work once established.  add a comment

I've only seen red ladybugs. If I start seeing green ladybugs I'm going to check and see if they are larger than normal, if they have more eyes than normal and if they have fangs. For some reason it just makes me think about those old 1950's bug movies lol.

It could be a ladybug as they do come in a wide variety of colorations. It might also be some sort of beetle. If they are on a specific sort of plant you might search for 'diseases and insects of plant name here' and see if the pictures match. Good Luck.

Well, I must say I believe I've seen then before. Though it's also possible that you confused it with the cucumber beetle. So, in short yes it's normal but rare.
