Good colors for a fall wedding are warm, rich hues that go with the season. Copper, pumpkin, cranberry, and warm chocolate or espresso brown colors are pretty for fall. Stylewise, consider climate. If the wedding will be indoors, something with clean lines like a simple strapless dress would be good.

Colors should reflect the the bride's preference. Perhaps take her favorite color and build the wedding around it. The style of the dresses should reflect the season. Short sleeves, cap sleeves or sleeveless in late spring/summer. Long sleeves, 3/4 length sleeves or short sleeves for fall/winter.

Autumn brings forth the end of the harvest and the changing of the leaves. Why not have a wedding in the colors of pumpkin, cranberry, wheat gold or a dark green? Bridesmaid dress styles should be weather dependent, but longer in length and the potential for sleeves are good considerations!

Its always better to go wth colors that are a little darker, and not as bright. Bright colors look out of place since they are also used for spring and summer weddings. Orange, green, and red are generally good colors. Dress companies make a large variety of each color so you can pick a tone that matches your style.

I'm getting married this fall and I felt that the best color for my bridesmaids to wear is dark chocolate brown.

My late October wedding was lovely, with bridesmaids in deep green and the maid of honor in gold lame'. The dresses all had matching bolero jackets for the chill.
