What are Erikson's stages of psychosocial development?

Infancy, Early Childhood, Play age, School age, Adolescence, Young Adulthood, Middle Adulthood, and Late Adulthood are the names of the stages in Erikson's psychosocial development. All contain an Ego Development Outcome and one or more Basic Strength. They span from birth to death.

The stages begin as a child at "trust and mistrust." They then move to being an autonomous being and eventually developing initiative for thoughts and actions. Next is Industry vs. Inferiority Identity vs. Role Confusion; Intimacy vs. Isolation Relationships Young; Generativity vs. Stagnation; Work and Parenthood Adults; Ego Integrity vs. Despair

Erikson's stages of psychosocial development are: Trust vs. Mistrust; Autonomy vs. Shame & Doubt, Initiative vs. Guilt; Industry vs. Inferiority; Identity vs. Role Confusion; Intimacy vs. Isolation; Generativity vs. Stagnation; and Integrity vs. Despair. They range through a person's entire life spectrum, from infancy through to the senior years. More information can be found online or in Psychology textbooks.
