You of course will want to ask how common multiple births are. Another thing you should ask is the success rate of the fertility procedure. Ask how may of his patients are able to get pregnant and ask how long on average it takes to get pregnant through this process for his patients.

When meeting with a fertility docotr you should determine what their success rate is, their thoughts on transfering more than two embryos at a time and their believes on selective reduction. You should also ask how many High Order multiples they had in the last 24 months, you will want to avoid clinics with a high rate of HOM.

I would recommend asking about how aggressive (or not) that he tends to be. Specifically, I would find out how many failed cycles it would take to move from drugs to injections to IVF. If you know you will go through IVF, ask how many embryos the doctor will transplant.
