Most of the time this problem is started by low oil levels or presure. Eventually the valve wears out and can cause major damage. i recommend replacement of all to prevent more work later.

to answer this question online is hard, noises can mean your transmition is going, squeling would mean that you have a stearing problem, a tugging noise is a misfire and you can come very close to stalling it and destroying the engine in some cases

Some of the noises coming from the Ford are oil and pressure level is low. Check the oil level and see if that was the noise. Then you have tire pressure is low, or your valves are over working.

Most of the time the motor valves get overworked, the valves do not worked properly and that is the reason of noise , the fuel burning is not normal, and the presure gets low. The motor starts loosing its compression , when You press on gas pedal, the fuel flows much , but there is no normal fuel burning.
