What advice can you give me on purchasing a used big screed television?

It would be wise to ask the person or persons whom possess the big screen if they have noticed anything in particular wrong with it. What kind of use it has seen. Look online for various trustworthy troubleshooting sources one could use for minor problems and perhaps look into some manner of a maintenance card or cleaning set.

First, make sure there aren't any large visible defects. Then, test out every feature on the television to make sure that everything works properly.

A rule of thumb is to never purchase anything used that costs more than half of the price for a new item. Check the used television for cracks in the case, water damage and to make sure all the ports/plugs work.
