What advice can you give me on growing new guinea inpatients plants?

I need to know if they require direct sunlight and how much water they need.

Direct sun will kill them. Also high heat will kill them. They need a lot of water (daily fine spray) and indirect sun or slightly shady. New Guinea Impatiens will take more sun than other varieties, but it needs moist soil so use a mulch.

These plants grow best when given at least 4-6 hrs. of safternoon shade. In northern areas they can tolerate more sunlight because the days are not as hot. They prefer consistent moisture. Do not let them dry out. Too much sun will result in faded leaves and flowers

Impatiens prefer low light rather than direct sunlight. New Guinea Impatiens are a bit stronger and can deal with filtered direct sunlight better. If it is especially hot or dry where the plant is located, reduce light. If it wilts, put in shade for a while & water when dry.
