Yes, the Sling Rider was recalled. It was especially dangerous for infants four months and younger who were unable to hold their heads up on their own.

Yes, because of the unsafe position it created for infants, with their heads being tucked to their chests. You can visit Infantino's website for information on a replacement product.

Yes, the sling rider was recalled recently. There were several reports of infant deaths and injuries for babies who stopped breathing as a result of the use. This was mainly reported in infants under four months of age who were unable to raise their head. The sling would cause the head to slump over cutting off the airway.

Yes, the Sling Rider has been recalled. The company that makes them, Infantino, recalled them on March of 2010. If you have one get in touch with them about a refund.

Yes, they were recalled in march due to three reported infant deaths in 2009 of a six day old baby, a seven week old baby, and a three month old baby. The sling puts the baby in a curled up position, and they slowly suffocate. You can contact infantino for a replacement.
