The Polo grounds were a group of four different fields located in Upper Manhattan. They were originally used for Polo and they have been used for baseball by the Giants, Yankees and Mets.

Four different stadiums named the Polo Grounds were built in New York. The most famous of these is the last one, last used for Major League Baseball by the Mets in 1962-63. This stadium was in fact demolished in 1964. The Polo Grounds Towers housing development was built there in 1968, on 155th Street and Harlem River Drive.
