It is probably your suspension. Do you have a bumpy ride even on a flat road surface? You should have your shock absorbers tested and checked by a qualified mechanic. Also check the tires for uneven wear and tear as these may also be the cause of a bumpy ride.

A bumpy ride could be caused by many things, including but not limited to the tires not being balanced correctly, a tire that's going out of round (growing a bubble) or worn out shocks or struts.

Tires that are out of round or have a bubble in them can cause this problem. Nylon tires are notorious for giving a "bumpy" feeling until they warm up, then it eases somewhat.

It may be riding bumpy because of the tires that you have on it, or the alignment of the car.
