Though you may encounter fighting putting any birds together that don't know each other, you shouldn't have a problem at all. If you do have fighting, place them in cages next to each other initially. Generally keets are very social and will be very happy to welcome a friend, I have had 7 keets in the same large cage successfully.

It depends on the personalities of the parakeets. Often they are able to be together with no problems, but you shouldn't put two males in a cage with one female because the males might fight over her.

Yes you can put 2 males parakeets together. But they will not lay eggs, sometimes they will find a bond in one another and show they care for each other but it will take them sometime to bond as well buying them together will be a best choice.
