Should you put a toddler in a harness?

Some people think it's cruel.

I think a toddler in a harness is an excellent idea if the child tends to wander or likes to feel free. It's child basis only mom will know best.

No! A toddler is not an animal. You need to be attentive to a toddler at all times even if that requires holding them at all times when out.

Not all toddlers will tolerate being "held at all times". A harness allows a toddler some freedom while helping to keep him/her safe. It has nothing to do with treating them like an animal. Is putting a baby in a crib ("cage") cruel? Restraining a kid in a carseat? add a comment
