Discharge when ovulating is normal. It's usually clear or whitish but has no odor and doesn't cause itching. The amount of discharge will increase when ovulating-if u usually have it other times too. But yeast, usually yellowish, or foamy, itchy, and sometimes has a particular odor. And it happens not only when you ovulate.

At ovulation, a lot of women have a clear, slippery discharge. Sometimes the discharge is so slight it isn't noticed. A yeast infection is usually white with a yeast smell and it makes you itch. Usually the clear discharge is a good sign you have ovulated. Any other discharge, if it lasts, should be checked.

Your discharge will be different at different times in your cycle. Generally if it smells bad or you have itchiness or discomfort, it may indicate an infection.
